Tom currently serves as an Assistant Lucas County Prosecutor in the Tax Foreclosure Division, where he works to protect the interests of Lucas County residents and ensure that property laws are applied fairly.

Earlier in his career, Tom worked in private practice handling probate matters, estate planning, guardianships, business transactions, and real estate matters. That experience provided him with a strong understanding of the issues families face in Probate Court, including handling estates and protecting vulnerable individuals.

Tom has also served the community as a Senior Attorney for the City of Toledo, an Assistant Lucas County Prosecutor handling both juvenile and adult criminal cases, and a staff attorney for the Sixth District Court of Appeals reviewing cases from courts across Northwest Ohio.

Tom earned his law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Denison University.  A graduate of Ottawa Hills High School, Tom has deep roots in the Toledo community.

Tom and his wife are raising their four children in the Toledo area. He is committed to ensuring that the Lucas County Probate Court serves families with fairness, compassion, and integrity.
